The Geometrie shop is located in the heart of Greve in Chianti, in the middle of a region steeped in artisan tradition.

A small multicolored world made of creativity and passion, in which you can find everyday objects such as plates, pots and cruets, but also eccentric and unique works of their kind.

Our shop offers traditional Tuscan ceramics, in the style of Montelupo craftsmanship or in a figurative register more linked to the iconic images of the Chianti landscape, flanked by moments of more experimental and contemporary artistic research.

Every object in our shop is 100% handmade by local artisans, with the passion of an experience rooted in the centuries: ceramics is one of the oldest arts in the history of mankind, and here in Tuscany has found fertile ground for some of the greatest excellence of the world.

Creating a work in ceramics means to shape the earth, to immerse the hands in the sense of creation.

It makes us think of those ancient peoples, Sumerians, Cretans, and Babylonians who thousands of years ago made the first, still crude, works of pottery that still today tell us something of their habits.

But it also reminds us of a time when the great aristocratic families of all Europe were looking for the pottery with which they adorn their tables. A period in which the tradition of Ginori and that of Montelupo clashed on par with the prestige of the Sèvres ceramics.
